Positive 1

Three years ago I took the first step that would adjust my attitude, my outlook and my life. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been worth it.

I have my daughter to thank for me wanting to take the first step. She is the reason I wanted to become a better man, a better father. I knew I had to change something so I could be there to watch her grow up.

My journey started at almost 400lbs and very depressed. My weight and depression had weighed me down my entire life. I wasn’t even aware of the depression until I started to climb out of it. Everyday I got up and faced what the day brought. Everyday the days got better. My attitude became more and more positive with each step forward.

The biggest change has been my attitude, which has become so infectious and positive.

From all of this I am the POSITIVE 1.

Over the last 3 years I have lost over 130lbs and continue to work towards losing weight, maintaining my mindset and living an overall healthy lifestyle.

My main goal is to inspire people daily by showing up as the best version of me every single day. My hope is that people see the work I put in day after day, the consistency, the desire to be better. If I can help just one person change their life for the better, all of my pain and struggle has been worth it.

Everyday I wake up to spread positivity. That is the driving force. The negativity is so easy to fall into. We all need to work at being positive, seeing the best in everything.

This is a movement, I am working towards making the world a more positive place.
